Social Media Video Production
If you have a business then you most likely use social media. You have the opportunity to reach a large audience, so getting the right company to make the right film for you will have a huge positive impact.
Here are four examples of different types of corporate film and social media videos. We can produce anything you have in mind for different platforms.
Your video can take several forms:
• Story based
• Product based
• Testimonial based
You can even opt for a longer social media film that would work well as a YouTube promotion.
In the film above we have a story-based film. It takes a funny look at the great British summer and was part of a series of films produced.
This stage of the process can take some time. It involves looking at your objective and who your target audience will be. Really good advertising evokes an emotion. It shouldn’t seem like you’re selling a product at all.
How we approach this stage depends on you and your business. You might require a detailed storyboard, a visual comic strip of how the video or film will play out. Or we might take a camera, with an idea in mind and see how we go. It needs to speak to the needs of your business and that includes factors such as resources and budget.
The Power of Social Media Video Marketing - public health
Video and film can be a very effective way of changing public opinion on health-related issues.
We’ve been lucky enough to work with Yorkshire Cancer Research who took advantage of our social media video services and created a public health video about vaping. We went on to produce a series of films for them to be shown on No Smoking Day that would highlight the public health concern and the related issues it presents.
The social media version was watched many thousands of times and shared internationally within the space of a few days. The key to success was doing something relevant to the audience and releasing it at the right time.
Social Media Video: Testimonials
Above is a fairly standard ‘talking heads’ style social media video. Its full-length sister is on our corporate film page. Set the Tone Fitness wanted a film of happy customers talking about how great their experience had been. A good testimonial is powerful stuff and will encourage people to want your product.
Social media films are viewed in a different way. People have a shorter attention span so the film needs to make a bold statement. People will often view them with the sound off, so adding subtitles will allow them to still get the message even if they can’t hear the sound.
Below is an example of a longer social media film. We designed this to be shown on YouTube.
Social Media Video: TV Too?
TV advertising isn’t only accessible to huge brands. Your business can have the same opportunity and we can create broadcast-quality and broadcast-cleared video that can be shown on TV. On-demand services such as ITV Hub can be a great outlet for your film and it’s more affordable than you think.
It’s possible to target your TV advertising the same way you would on social media. The good news is your audience can’t skip the video and your offering is fact checked to promote trust in what you’re saying.
We’ll usually include a social media friendly version of all our films because we understand you’ll want to use them on all your accounts to maximum effect.
